Portugal powerhouse Sporting CP are keeping close watch on OGC Nice prospect Dalbert Henrique, according to Portuguese media outlet Abola.
The 23-year-old left-back has emerged as one of the most influential players of the French outfit ever since his arrival from Vitoria Guimaraes at the beginning of the season, notching 25 Ligue 1 starts for his side thus far.
The player who started his career with Academico Viseu is believed to be one of the options currently considered by Sporting CP, who have been recently linked with Stuttgart defender Emiliano Insua as well.
Portuguese Lions are looking to bolster their backline and Dalbert Henrique is believed to be eyed as the primary transfer target in front of former Liverpool man.
Dalbert Henrique is under contract with OGC Nice until 2021, but Sporting are confident that an offer in excess of €5 million would be enough to temp the French outfit into selling the youngster and sending him back to Portugal.
