Sporting CP sign Bebeto’s son Mattheus Oliveira

Brazilian legend Bebeto’s son Mattheus Oliveira is a new player of Portugal giants Sporting CP, Ojogo has learned.

Oliveira signed a five-year contract with the Lions after completing his medical tests on Monday.

Sporting CP have beaten Benfica to the signature of the 22-year-old attacking midfielder Oliveira, who arrives from Estoril. Bebeto’s son has scored two goals in 32 competitive matches this season for Estoril, the club he joined in 2015.

Son of the legendary footballer made his first football steps in 2012 at Botafogo and now moves to the biggest stage in Portugal looking to make his father proud.

Verde e Brancos have reportedly spent €5 million for the signature of the talented Brazilian, whose contract will also include a small percentage fee from a future sale.

Sporting CP are sitting is third place in the standings two rounds before the end of the Primeira Liga as Benfica secured their title this weekend with a 5-0 win over Vitoria de Guimaraes at the Estadio da Luz over the weekend.
