Portuguese media outlet Record has learned that Sporting Lisbon are weighing up summer bid for Lorient full-back Raphael Guerreiro.
The talented footballer enjoyed a very successful season in Ligue 1, scoring 7 goals in 34 matches as he was mostly used as a left winger.
Guerreiro has, however, played at left-back for Portugal and managed to score the winner in a 1-0 friendly against Argentina in November 2014.
He has since seen a number of top sides show interest in his services, with Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan and Manchester City among his suitors.
According to the latest reports, new Sporting Lisbon coach Jorge Jesus is also keen and he could instruct the club chiefs to try and bring Guerreiro to Estadio Jose Alvalade.
Lorient chairman Christophe Leroux has denied being contacted by the Primeira Liga side, but Record is adamant the Lions are keen on the 21-year-old footballer, who has another two years left on his contract.
