Sporting Lisbon is offering Bruno Fernandes to Real Madrid, AS reports. Although several clubs were enquiring about the Portuguese midfielder, the sale might prove difficult as the club are asking for €70 million and currently do not seem willing to budge.
Before the English window closed there were negotiations between Sporting Lisbon and two English clubs, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United, with word getting out that Spurs offered €60 million, an offer which was refused by the Lisbon club. Sporting have also employed Jorge Mendes to help them find a suitable buyer for their star player. One possibility cropped up and that was none other than Real Madrid.
Los Blancos have been informed on the 24-year-old’s non-negotiable price-tag.
Bruno Fernandes joined Sporting in June 2017. During the two seasons he appeared in altogether 64 matches for the club and scored 47 goals, and last year he became the midfielder with the most goals in any of the top five European leagues.
