Barcelona youngster Jeffren Suarez is on the verge of completing a move to Sporting Lisbon, according to Record.
The two clubs have opened negotiations a couple of weeks ago and the latest reports suggest that they have now reached an agreement.
Sporting have agreed to pay €5 million for the winger, who is set to sign a five-year deal with the Lions.
Even though there is no official confirmation yet, the transfer is expected to be completed some time tomorrow.
The player born in Venezuela has been part of Pep Guardiola’s side since 2010, but injuries and fierce competition prevented him from fully realizing his potential at Camp Nou.
He has, therefore, decided to leave the club in search for the first team football and is hoping to kick-start his career at Jose Alvalade.
