Sporting Lisbon have confirmed the signings of Luis Aguiar and Diego Rubio on their official website.
The Uruguayan attacking midfielder Luis Aguiar has signed a four-year deal after arriving from Dynamo Moscow.
The 25-year-old is already used to Portuguese football, having played for Porto and Braga.
“I am very excited with this new challenge,” Aguiar told club’s official website.
“I feel I have deserved to join a big club, where I want to help the team improve the results from last year and fight for trophies.”
Chilean forward Diego Rubio comes from Colo Colo and he has signed a five-year contract.
The 18-year-old who scored 8 goals in 11 league games for Colo Colo was visibly delighted with the new club.
“I am a very combative player, who always fights for things to go well for the team and, playing up front, the one who looks for a goal.
”I am very young and have to improve all aspects of my game, although I have a powerful shot and a good head game.
“I am willing to give everything to get my opportunity and then seize it with goals for the team.”
