Sporting reject €30 million bid for Bas Dost

Portuguese daily newspaper Record claims that Sporting Clube de Portugal have rejected a mega money offer for star striker Bas Dost.

The Netherlands international has become a hot commodity after bagging 34 goals in 31 league outings, and he has been the subject of several serious proposals.

After rejecting €40 million for his services from Tianjin Quanjian back in January, the Lions have now rebuffed a €30 million bid from an unnamed Premier League side.

Sporting CP chiefs are clearly not interested in selling their prized asset and they are referring his suitors to the €60 million release clause.

Dost had surprisingly failed to nail down a regular starting berth at Wolfsburg despite performing really well, but he did well to kick-start his career at Estadio Jose Alvalade.
