Portuguese media outlet Record has learned that Sporting will not allow star striker Islam Slimani to leave for less than €15 million.

The Algerian has made a name for himself since joining the Lions from Belouizdad and his excellent showings did not go unnoticed.

It is believed that the likes of West Ham, Schalke, Leicester City, Napoli and few more top sides are keen on the forward’s services.

And while Sporting officials were initially prepared to accept a bid in the region of €10 million, the current asking price stands at €15 million.

After proving a super sub in his first season at the club to score 8 goals in just 10 league starts, the 26-year-old has developed into a very important player for the Lions.

Slimani made a total of 19 Primeira Liga appearances this term, scoring 11 goals, while also netting two times in six Champions League matches.
