The last few days have seen reports linking Tottenham’s star striker Harry Kane with a move to Spanish super club Real Madrid, and the player himself admitted he wouldn’t rule out a move. However, Spurs are adamant that they won’t be offloading their talismanic forward any time soon, according to the Independent.
Kane would be following in the footsteps of former Tottenham winger Gareth Bale if he were to make the move to the Spanish capital, but the two-time Premier League Golden Boot-winning striker is a fan favourite at Spurs, and chairman Daniel Levy is famed for being a tough negotiator. Real Madrid would have to pay through the nose if they wanted Kane.
Kane’s 29 league goals last season helped Spurs to a second place finish in the Premier League, and the English striker will be hoping to help his side go one better this campaign. Six goals in his first seven games have certainly put the North London club on the right track, but Kane will be instrumental in Spurs’ success in the years to come, and he is certainly not a player that the club will want to see the back of any time soon.
