Spurs admits ‘serious’ Huntelaar interest

Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has revealed that his interest in signing Real Madrid striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar is ‘serious’.

Peter Crouch seems to be close to joining Spurs in a £10million, but it is believed Redknapp is still keen on signing the Dutchman as well.

“My interest in Huntelaar is serious,” Redknapp said, according to The Daily Mail.

“We’ve spoken to Real Madrid and the fee is somewhere between £15-£17m.”

Reports suggest Spurs would be forced to sell Darren Bent or Roman Pavlyuchenko in order to help finance a move for Huntelaar.
