Spurs agree deal for Lucas Moura

French daily newspaper L’Equipe understands that Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement to sign Brazilian winger Lucas Moura from Paris Saint-Germain.

Spurs have had an offer in the region of €27 million accepted by the Saints, who need to raise cash in order to avoid breaking FIFA Financial Fair Play rules.

Lucas Moura is expected to sign a five-year contract with the North London outfit subject to passing a medical.

The Brazilian, therefore, gets a chance to secure regular playing time at Tottenham after making mere five league appearances for the Saints this term.

Lucas still harbours hopes of making Brazil’s 2018 World Cup squad and a good run of performances in English Premier League would certainly get him closer to the goal.
