Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa are both interested in signing Andrea Cambiaso from Juventus this summer, according to Calciomercato, with the Old Lady valuing the left-back at €40 million.
Cambiaso joined Juventus from Genoa for just over €13m in 2022 and spent the following season on loan with Bologna. Having returned last summer, the 24-year-old has so far made 39 appearances for Juventus in all competitions, scoring three goals and contributing six assists. His contract at the Allianz Stadium has three years left to run, putting the Serie A giants in a strong position when it comes to discussing his future.
The interest from the two Premier League sides in Cambiaso indicates that both consider the left defensive flank as an area that needs strengthening ahead of 2024/25, particularly Aston Villa who, as reported elsewhere, are also interested in Sevilla left-back Marcos Acuna. But being eight years younger than the Argentinian World Cup winner, Cambiaso obviously represents more of a long-term solution as Unai Emery prepares his team for playing in the Champions League.
