The Ivan Rakitic saga continues. The Croatia international is looking further and further away from staying at Barcelona beyond the current season. The experienced midfielder has been courted by Barca to other clubs and at one point, the player himself even said that he is not a sack of potatoes to be offered to everyone. The problem started when Rakitic got moved away from the starting lineup and he does not want to be a player on the periphery.
Many clubs have been said to be interested in him, but now Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly another one stading in the line. According to Spanish outlet Sport, Spurs are the ones showing interest to sign him this summer. Despite Rakitic having another two years on his current contract, it looks highly unlikely that he will stay at the club.
Sevilla want to get their former captain back, but apparently, Juventus, Napoli and Atletico Madrid also want the Croatia international to be part of their club.
