Spurs back in for Schneiderlin

Tottenham Hotspur look set to renew their interest in signing Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin this summer, according to the Daily Star.

The France international, who was denied a move away from St Mary’s last season, has continued his impressive form for the club this season with four goals in thirty appearances in all competitions.

Chelsea and Arsenal are also considering a move for the 25 year old, though Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino, who worked with him for one and a half years on the south coast, is desperate to steal a march on his rivals.

Schneiderlin played the entire ninety minutes as the Saints drew 2-2 with Tottenham on Saturday afternoon.

Ronald Koeman’s side, who travel to Sunderland on Saturday afternoon, remain one point and one place behind the North London side in seventh place and can now be backed at a price of 8/11 to finish the campaign in the top six.
