Tottenham Hotspur are on the verge of signing Ivorian defender Serge Aurier from Paris Saint-Germain, according to L’Equipe.
Spurs have had a €25 million proposal accepted by the Saints, while also agreeing a five-year deal with the player.
The only thing preventing the transfer from being finalised is Aurier’s ban from entering the UK, although Tottenham hope the player’s appeal will be successful.
Few weeks ago, the Ivorian was believed to be close to joining Manchester United, but said ban might have prevented the Red Devils from wrapping up the deal.
Spurs see Aurier as a good replacement for Kyle Walker, who was sold to Manchester City earlier this summer.
