Spurs confident of cut-price Ince deal

Tottenham Hotspur are sure that they will be able to secure the services of Blackpool’s Tom Ince for £4m when the transfer window reopens in January, according to the Express.

The England U21 international has excelled over the past two seasons in the Championship, alerting a number of top flight clubs to his potential.

Liverpool, the club where the 21 year old began his career have had a long standing interest in their former youth player while Premier League newcomers Cardiff City agreed an £8m fee with the Seasiders in July, only for the winger to opt to remain at Bloomfield Road where he is currently managed by his father Paul.

Ince’s current deal with Blackpool is set to expire this summer, so the club may be keen to cash in on their star player during the winter.

He has four goals in seven league appearances so far this season, and can be backed at 6/1 to open the scoring at Charlton Athletic on Saturday afternoon.
