La Liga side Malaga may be forced to sell one of their star players, Jose Salomon Rondon as they are on the brink of a finical crisis and Tottenham are interested in the striker, that’s according to the Daily Mail.
Rondon has attracted plenty of interested from English Premier League clubs of late, especially Arsenal and Chelsea but it is Spurs who look set to make a move for him.
The 22-year-old found the net eleven times in Spain’s top flight last season and as reluctant as Malaga may be to let him go, they might not have a choice and Rondon could be one of a few players on the way out.
This will certainly grab the attention of teams all around Europe as Malaga have some an array of talent in their squad.
New boss at White Hart Lane Andre Villas Boas is looking to add quality to his attack and may offer Giovanni Dos Santos to the Spanish side as part of a swap deal.
With Emmanuel Adebayor already signing at Spurs, Rondon could be the other striker that the London club need to challenge for Champions League football this campaign. The move could be funded by the likely departure of Luka Modric.
