Tottenham Hotspur swooped in at the eleventh hour to steal the march on Everton regarding the transfer of Arnaut Danjuma from Villarreal, signing the winger on loan for the rest of the season. He has already opened his account for the North London club, scoring the goal that wrapped up their 0-3 victory over Preston North End in the FA Cup on Saturday, following a double from Son Heung-min.
Spurs were reported to have agreed a clause to make Danjuma’s move permanent at the end of the season, and now, club director Fabio Paratici has confirmed that piece of information as true, adding that the progress of the six-cap Netherlands international will be watched carefully over the next five months with a view of making a decision on the option.
Tottenham director Paratici: “We’ve an option to buy Danjuma in June. We believe in the player, we will see in the next 5 months”. ⚪️ #THFC
