Spurs eyeing Salah switch

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a move for Chelsea flop Mohamed Salah, according to the Mail Online.

The 22 year old only moved to Stamford Bridge last January, but was loaned to Fiorentina after making just seventeen starts for Jose Mourinho’s side in all competitions.

Since arriving in Italy, the Egyptian has impressed with seven goals in all competitions – form that has alerted Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino, who is ready to enquire about the winger.

Salah’s international record is impressive, with twenty goals in just thirty-six caps, a tally which includes a hat-trick against Zimbabwe in a 2014 World Cup qualifier.

Tottenham lost to Manchester City on Sunday afternoon to all but end their fading hopes of finishing in the top four this season.

Next up for the North London side is a trip to Stoke City on Saturday afternoon, and the away win can be backed at 6/4.
