Tottenham Hotspur are believed to be keen on Sassuolo striker Simone Zaza, according to the latest reports from Italy.
The Italy international has been in scintillating form this season and he has already nailed down a regular starting berth in the national team.
Zaza is almost certain to leave Sassuolo for a top European club in the summer, with Juventus having the option to buy him back for €15 million.
However, should the Bianconeri opt against re-signing the 23-year-old, there will be quite a few top sides battling for his signature.
Sassuolo chairman Giorgio Squinzi has now revealed that an English Premier League side are showing interest in Zaza, with many believing Tottenham to be the club in question.
“There is a concrete manifestation of interest from an English Premier League club for Zaza,” Squinzi told news agency ANSA. “It is strong interest, though we haven’t discussed financial terms yet.”
Simone Zaza made a total of 22 Serie A appearances for Sassuolo this term, scoring 8 goals in the process, while he started four of Italy’s five Euro 2016 qualifiers, bagging one goal.
