Spurs forward set for France move

French media outlet L’Equipe has learned that Tottenham forward Clinton N’Jie will be joining Marseille in the summer transfer window.

The talented attacker arrives at Stade Velodrome on a season-long loan with a €7 million option to buy included in the deal.

The two clubs managed to agree a transfer during talks for Georges-Kevin N’Koudou, who will be moving in the opposite direction for €13 million.

Clinton N’Jie only joined Tottenham last summer from Lyon, but he largely struggled for playing time in his maiden Premier League season.

The 22-year-old only made eight substitute appearances in the league last season, so no wonder that he will be allowed to leave the club.

Meanwhile, Marseille could really use an attack-minded footballer like N’Jie having stayed without Michy Batshuayi, Georges-Kevin N’Koudou and Remy Cabella already this summer.

Tottenham will be hoping to mount another title challenge and they can be backed at 8/1 to go all the way.
