Spurs join race for Cabaye

Tottenham Hotspur are keeping close tabs on Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Yohan Cabaye, according to France Football.

While Arsenal and Liverpool remain hot on the trail of the former Newcastle star, Spurs are believed to have joined the chase as well.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino has changed quite a few players as he searched for the best central midfield pairing this season and he seems to believe that Cabaye could be an answer to his problems.

The 28-year-old has been unable to nail down a regular starting berth at Parc des Princes, and he is considering his options at the moment.

With Cabaye having also lost his place in the national team, the midfielder could be ready to leave the Saints in search of first team football.

The highly rated footballer made quite an impact during his first spell in English Premier League, having managed 18 goals and 14 assists in 93 appearances.
