Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur are weighing up winter move for Fiorentina midfielder Milan Badelj, Sunday People can reveal.
Spurs are a bit short of options in the middle of the park after seeing Nabil Bentaleb and Ryan Mason leave in the summer, and they have now set their sights on the Croatia international.
It is believed that Badelj would be available for some £7 million, which is well within Tottenham’s price range.
AC Milan have been hot on the trail of the central midfielder for quite some time, but they could now miss out on their long-term target if Spurs decide to step up their interest.
Milan Badelj, 27, has spent last two years at Artemio Franchi, scoring 3 goals in 54 Serie A outings.
His suitors Tottenham Hotspur face CSKA Moscow on the road tomorrow evening and they can be backed at 11/8 to emerge victorious.
