The Metro understands that Tottenham Hotspur are eyeing a summer move for Chelsea’s Patrick Bamford.
The England U21 striker is currently on loan with Championship promotion hopeful’s Derby County, where he has netted five goals in just seven second-tier appearances.
Previous to his switch to Steve McClaren’s side, the 20 year old had enjoyed successful stints with League One side MK Dons, where he scored twenty-one times in all competitions.
He was signed by Chelsea from Nottingham Forest, having made just two brief substitute appearances in the Championship, but is yet to make a first team appearance for the Premier League giants.
Spurs boss Tim Sherwood is interested in signing the highly rated forward, though Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is also believed to rate him.
He is set to lead the Rams line against Bournemouth tomorrow afternoon, and is joint favourite to get the first goal of the game at 9/2.
