Tottenham Hotspur are hot on the trail of Bayer Leverkusen forward Heung-Min Son, according to Sport Bild.
It is no secret that Spurs are in the market for attacking reinforcements, and they appear to be readying bid for the Korea international.
A €25 million clause Son had in his contract has now expired, but Tottenham are not ready to give up on his services.
It is believed that Leverkusen would seriously consider all offers in that range and the ball is now in Spurs’ court.
Tottenham, as well as few other Premier League sides, missed out on the opportunity to recruit the 23-year-old two years back as he left HSV for Bayer Leverkusen and has since proved his worth, notching 21 goals in 61 league outings for the club.
Son has been rated doubtful for the return leg of the Champions League play-off vs Lazio, where die Werkself are 4/7 to emerge victorious.
