Spurs keen on Perrotta; Galatasaray want Kaka

Tottenham Hotspur are one of many clubs showing interest in 18-year-old Pescara defender Marco Perrotta, Sky Sports understands.

In addition, Perrotta’s agent Ulisse Savini revealed that his client is being chased by Italian giants AC Milan as well as AS Roma.

“AS Roma, AC Milan and Tottenham on him? It’s true, but not only them, there are other clubs interested in the player,” Savini told tuttomercatoweb.

Perrotta is expected to be a big player for the club following their promotion from Serie B last term. He is under contract with the Biancazzurri until 2016, but his future remains uncertain at the moment.

“Right now he is looking forward to a season with Pescara in Serie A and he has a contract that ties him to the club until 2016,” added Savini. “For the future we’ll see.”

Pescara Calcio are scheduled to kick-off their 2012-13 Serie A campaign on Sunday, 26 August 2012 against Italian giants Internazionale at the Stadio Adriatico – Giovanni Cornacchia in  Pescara, Abruzzo, Italy.

Galatasaray want Kaka

According to Sky Sports, Galatasaray S.K. chairman Unal Aysal has revealed that the Turkish Süper Lig giants will do ‘everything possible’ to sign Kaka from Real Madrid, while also confirming interest in Lazio winger Mauro Zárate.

“We will try to do everything possible to bring Kaka to our team,” Aysal told Haber7.com.

“He is still undecided whether or not to remain at Real Madrid. It won’t be easy to convince him (to come to Galatasaray), but we’ll keep trying.”

Despite featuring in 27 La Liga fixtures for Los Blancos in 2011-12, Kaka undoubtedly played second fiddle to Germany international Mesut Özil last term.

Özil made 35 league appearances (30 starts) for Jose Mourinho’s side last season, tallying four goals and a league-leading 17 assists.

Meanwhile, Kaka, who joined Real Madrid for a fee of €65 million from AC Milan in June 2009, bagged five goals and seven assists in games (17 starts), while adding three goals and five assists in eight UEFA Champions League appearances.

The imminent arrival of Luka Modric from Tottenham Hotspur combined with the fact that the Special One left the former FIFA World Player of the Year on the bench with his side in need of a match-winning goal against Valencia on the opening day of the season really says it all.

Do you think Kaka will be a Real Madrid player when the 2012 summer transfer window closes?
