Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is reportedly planning to make a move for Real Madrid star Raul.
Redknapp has admitted he is keen to make a superstar signing ahead of next season’s Champions League campaign.
News of the World reports that Spurs have made contact with Raul’s agent Gines Carvajal.
The Spanish striker could join Spurs on a free transfer as Real Madrid could decide to release their veteran captain.
“Raul has always been interested in the Premier League,” said a source close to the player to News of the World.
“He has spoken with friends like Fernando Morientes and Michel Salgado, who know England, and they have encouraged him to make the move.”
