Metro is reporting that Tottenham are keeping close tabs on Everton midfielder Leon Osman.
The England international has two years left on his deal at Goodison Park, but he has reportedly cancelled negotiations over a new contract.
Tottenham are hoping to take advantage of the situation and try and sign the player in the summer transfer window.
Andre Villas-Boas is a keen admirer of the experienced midfielder and he is prepared to pull all the stops to sign him in the summer.
Spurs are rumoured to be readying a £6 million bid for Osman, while they could also include some of their back-up players in the deal.
Leon Osman, 31, has developed into one of England’s top central midfielders over the years and he has been a key player for the Toffees for quite a while.
Osman was even handed a full England debut in November 2012 and has managed to keep his place in the squad ever since.
