Spurs offer Eriksen big new deal

According to AS, Tottenham Hotspur have offered Christian Eriksen a huge new deal.

The Danish international has been the subject of strong interest from Real Madrid, as well as linked with Manchester United this summer. He has entered the final 12 months of his existing deal with Spurs and will be free to talk to clubs outside England from the start of 2020. The north London club are keen on keeping the 27-year-old in their ranks, but they’re perhaps even more keen on safeguarding against losing one of their top stars for free.

Therefore, they’ve prepared a new deal for Eriksen, one that would apparently see him earn £230,000 per week.

The negotiations between the club and the attacking midfielder have been dragging on for a very long time now, and the club hope that his signature on a new deal would not only solve the problem, but also ward off interest from potential suitors, whose number would likely increase come January.
