A report in the Mirror claims Tottenham Hotspur are ready to part ways with Toby Alderweireld, Danny Rose, Mousa Dembele, Fernando Llorente and Moussa Sissoko.
Spurs will start the clear-out by listening to offers for the mutinous duo of Alderweireld and Rose. Rose, who spent most of 2017/18 on the side-lines due to injury, openly criticized the club’s transfer policy and wage structure last summer, while the club refuse to give in to Alderweireld’s contract demands and are willing to let him go as he enters the final year of his current deal. Manchester United, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain and all interested in signing the Belgian centre-back.
Manchester United are also monitoring the situation around Rose.
Like his compatriot, midfielder Mousa Dembele has a year remaining on his contract and at 31, he’s ready to listen to offers from Italy and China.
Manager Mauricio Pochettino has urged the club to be ‘brave’ in the market this summer and be ready to spend big in order to challenge for the title next season. Meanwhile, Sky Sports claim Chelsea would be willing to consider swooping in for the Argentine should Antonio Conte leave Stamford Bridge.
