Tottenham Hotspur have not had the busiest of transfer markets this January, having only brought Lucas Moura from Paris Saint-Germain.
The Premier League top-four hopefuls boast a talented unit capable of competing with league’s biggest guns but manager Mauricio Pochettino is keen to add more talent to his squad and is said to have already laid plans for the summer transfer window.
According to reports coming from German publication Bild, Spurs are keen on the 18-year-old Hamburg sensation Jann-Fiete Arp.
The German gem has emerged as one of the hottest prospects in European football, attracting plenty of interest from Europe’s leading clubs but Tottenham hope to beat the competition to his signature and bring him to London at the end of the season.
Arp made 10 appearances for Hamburg this season, scoring two goals during that time. The time he spent on the pitch was more than enough for the youngster to flaunt his talents, work-rate and maturity, which was all more than enough to lure Tottenham Hotspur.
