Tottenham Hotspur’s season is far from ideal and they are thinking about signing new players in order to change sme things around. Their side needs refreshing and it could be that the manager Jose Mourinho is aware of that. There are a lot of transfer rumours regarding the potential departure of Jan Vertonghen and Christian Eriksen, as well as some other players, but now there are also talks about signings.
According to the Sun, Tottenham are planning to launch a bid for Norwich defender Max Aarons. The same report suggests Spurs are ready to offer 15 million pounds for the right-back, to strengthen the side that has been bothering them. Kieran Trippier is now at Atletico Madrid, Serge Aurier is a constant liability and Kyle Walker-Peters simply is not good enough to lead in that position.
Tottenham are hopeful that Norwich will sanction Aarons’ departure this month, with Jose Mourinho desperate to bring in extra cover at right-back.
