Spurs readying bid for Balde Keita

Tottenham Hotspur are weighing up late bid for Lazio forward Balde Diao Keita, Il Corriere dello Sport can reveal.

The Senegalese striker is looking to leave Stadio Olimpico this summer having entered the final year of his deal, and he has no shortage of high-profile suitors.

However, there have been no clubs prepared to match Lazio’s €30 million asking price, although that could change now that Tottenham have joined the chase.

Spurs are reportedly ready to submit an official proposal for Keita that should be close to Claudio Lotito’s valuation of the player.

The 22-year-old hasn’t been part of the squad for the new season due to the contract dispute, but he bagged impressive 16 goals in 31 Serie A fixtures last term.
