Bayern Munich are interested in signing Tanguy Ndombele from Tottenham Hotspur and to that end, they were willing to offer Corentin Tolisso plus €20 million, according to Sky Sports. However, Spurs rejected the offer and refused to take the talks any further.
Ndombele did not take part in any of the games Spurs played during the pre-season and is yet to feature this term, and he is not part of the squad head coach Nuno Espirito Santo has picked for the Premier League clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers today (Sunday). Speaking about the situation, the boss mentioned a lack of motivation for the 24-year-old midfielder as the reason for not being in his plans at the moment.
He has reportedly asked the club to be allowed to leave, even though his contract still has four years left to run.
Spurs want to sign another attacking player before the window is out, but they need to offload players before they can make a move on that front. The players they’ve chosen to make available are midfielder Moussa Sissoko and right-back Serge Aurier, but apparently not Ndombele as of yet.
