London Evening Standard understands that Tottenham are considering a move for West Ham midfielder Mohamed Diame.
Diame, 25, has been the subject of constant transfer speculations of late due to his £3.5 million release clause, with Arsenal thought to be leading the race for his signature.
However, with the Gunners yet to make an officials proposal for the highly rated midfielder, it appears that Tottenham have joined the race as well.
Andre Villas-Boas is looking to add another central midfielder to his ranks after Sandro was ruled out for the season, with Diame on top of his hit-list.
Diame yesterday said that he was very happy at West Ham, but it is believed he would not be able to resist a call from North London.
The Senegalese midfielder only joined the Hammers in the summer, but has already done enough to attract interest from top Premier League clubs.
