Tottenham Hotspur have set a huge price for Harry Kane, according to The Telegraph.
In his determination to keep him at the club, president Daniel Levy will not be taking into consideration any offer below £250 million, which, if it became a reality in the market, would make him the most expensive player in the world.
The England captain is clear on his intentions to start winning silverware, and it has sparked fear in north London that he might push for a way out next season. One way to prevent that would, of course, be to win something this season, but that isn’t proving an easy task at the moment, with Spurs dropping out of the Carabao Cup at the hands of Colchester on penalties on Tuesday. There are still three competitions to fight for, and the Kane situation could provide extra motivation for manager Mauricio Pochettino and the rest of his team.
