Spurs target announces summer exit

Marseille youngster Bilal Boutobba has announced that he will be leaving the club at the end of the current campaign.

The 17-year-old is widely regarded as one of France’s hottest prospects at the moment and he was handed his first team debut by Marcelo Bielsa over a year ago.

Marseille recently offered the youngster a chance to sign a professional contract, but while he was satisfied with the offer, Boutobba decided to reject as he does not believe there is a sporting project in place at Stade Velodrome.

He announced his decision in an interview with La Provence, meaning that he is set to quit OM at the end of the season.

Tottenham Hotspur and Sevilla are some of the high-profile clubs to have shown interest in his services and chances are he will receive at least several offers in the coming months.

Boutobba made three substitute appearances in Ligue 1 under Marcelo Bielsa, but has since only featured for the reserves.
