Tottenham Hotspur are keen on getting rid of Christian Eriksen in January to avoid losing him for free next summer, and they are willing to offer his services to his long-standing admirers Real Madrid, along with €30 million, in return for Gareth Bale, according to Eldesmarque.
Unlike Toby Alderweireld who signed a new contract recently, as well as Jan Vertonghen and Eric Dier who are likely to do so soon, Eriksen has made it clear he wants to leave North London amid links with Real, Juventus and Inter Milan. On the other hand, Bale, who played for Spurs for six years and scored 56 goals in 203 games for them before moving to Madrid in 2013 for €100 million, has had attitude issues in the Spanish capital by all accounts, and he’s been linked with departure for a while now.
Bale has never worked with current Spurs boss Jose Mourinho, who was sacked by Real just before his arrival to the Santiago Bernabeu.
