Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur are readying bid for Lille winger Sofiane Boufal, London Evening Standard has suggested.
Spurs recently recruited talented forward Clinton N’Jie from Lyon and they remain attentive towards the French market under new head of recruitment Paul Mitchell.
According to London Evening Standard, Tottenham are hot on the trail of Lille starlet Sofiane Boufal, who has already been likened to Chelsea star Eden Hazard.
The 22-year-old enjoyed a strong start to his career with les Dogues after joining from Angers less than a year ago, netting 6 times in 22 Ligue 1 appearances.
Spurs were believed to be readying a £12 million proposal for his services back in August, but they will probably have to improve the offer in the winter transfer window.
And with Lille paying mere £3 million for the highly rated winger, they are clearly in for another major windfall when they do decide to cash in on Boufal.
