Saint Etienne have moved to confirm that star players Max-Alain Gradel and Franck Tabanou have a permission to leave the club this summer.
The two footballers have been star performers in what has been a very successful season for les Verts, helping the team finish the league campaign mere two points behind the final Champions League berth.
The duo has since been heavily linked with a move to English Premier League, with Swansea reportedly leading the chase for Tabanou, and several top clubs showing interest in his teammate.
Saint Etienne chairman Roland Romeyer has added fuel to speculation linking the duo with a summer exit by confirming the club will listen to offers for the two star men.
“Only Franck Tabanou and Max-Alain Gradel have permission to leave,” Romeyer told L’Equipe. “The others will not leave without our agreement.”
While Tabanou, 26, has managed one goal and five assists this term despite playing at left-back, Max Gradel has enjoyed his most successful season up to date, bagging 17 goals in 31 league outings.
