After two league defeats, Standard Liege were again unable to record a victory and were instead held to a 2-2 draw by Germinal Beerschot.

Beerschot have been in surprisingly good shape lately and currently occupy third place in the Belgian Pro League.

And Germinal again impressed in Liege, taking the lead through Bart Goor in the 39th minute.

Milan Jovanovic levelled the score three minutes before the hour mark, but Tosin Dosunmu had already restored the gap five minutes later.

Standard did limit the damage though, as Igor De Camargo made it 2-2 with 20 minutes to play.

Leaders Anderlecht play away to Cercle Brugge on Sunday, while second-placed Club Brugge travel to face Lokeren.
