Standard de Liege have reconquered their top spot in the Belgian Eerste Klasse, despite being held to a goalless draw at KRC Genk.

Neither side managed to break the deadlock in Genk, which causes both teams to drop valuable points.

Standard do still have the lead, but the advantage over Anderlecht has been reduced to just one point. Genk are fifth, whereas a win over Standard would have allowed them to move into second place.

Excelsior Mouscron and Club Brugge are the current numbers three and four.
