Il Corriere dello Sport understands that AC Milan hotshots M’Baye Niang and Giacomo Bonaventura are in talks over signing new contracts at San Siro.
Together with Carlos Bacca, the two footballers have had a key role to play for the Rossoneri since Vincenzo Montella took over the reigns and they are now set to be rewarded for the new status in the squad.
AC Milan officials have already opened talks with Giacomo Bonaventura, who should soon be signing a contract extension, but finding an agreement with his teammate will not be such an easy job.
M’Baye Niang currently has a deal until June 2019, worth around €1 million per campaign, and his agent Mino Raiola would prefer the new contract to also be until 2019, with a significant pay rise.
According to reports, AC Milan are ready to double the striker’s salary, but they hope he will agree to a two-year extension.
