Star trio set for Camp Nou exit

Catalan daily newspaper Sport has learned that up to three first team regulars will be leaving Barcelona during the off season.

A major squad rebuilding is expected following a very disappointing season and while the Catalans have around €60 million to spend on new footballers, they plan to raise another €80 million through player sales.

According to Sport, sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta and president Josep Maria Bartomeu have agreed to entertain offers for Alexis Sanchez, Cesc Fabregas and Dani Alves.

And while the club have no option but to sell the Brazilian defender as his contract is due to expire in just over a year, they are looking to profit from the heavy interest in Fabregas and Sanchez from Europe’s top clubs.

The Spaniard is being heavily linked with a return to English Premier League, where most top clubs are keen, whereas Sanchez is almost certain to join Juventus this summer.
