Stephane M’Bia leaves Sevilla

La Liga side Sevilla have announced on their official website that they have opted against turning Stephane M’Bia’s loan deal into permanent move.

The Cameroon star enjoyed a very successful season with los Rojiblancos, helping the side lift the Europa League trophy, but it is now clear he will not be staying at Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

Seeing as how his contract at QPR is due to expire in a couple of days, M’Bia is set to become a free agent and he will have no shortage of offers with some of Europe’s top clubs reportedly keen.

Stephane M’Bia joined Rangers in the summer of 2012 from Marseille, but he was allowed to leave on loan after the club were relegated to the Championship.

QPR have since returned to the elite division, but the 28-year-old has no plans to return to Loftus Road and is expected to announce his next destination shortly.
