Fiorentina forward Stevan Jovetic admits he is pondering a move to English Premier League.
The Montenegrin international has been targeted by a host of Europe’s top clubs in the summer, but he eventually decided to sign a new contract at Artemio Franchi.
The 22-year-old started the new season in incredible fashion, scoring 12 goals in 17 Serie A games, thus becoming one of the most prolific forwards in Italy’s top flight.
Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City have all sent scouts to watch the promising striker in action, and the player has now added fuel to speculations that he could be leaving Fiorentina at the end of the season.
“I am content in Italy but I’m always looking out to improve myself,” Jovetic told Daily Star.
“I have been looking out for a chance to play in the Premier League and I am prepared for that challenge.”
Jovetic has a contract until June 2016 with Viola and his release clause currently stands at £40 million.
It is, nonetheless, believed that he would be available for £30 million, which is well within the price range of the interested clubs.
