Brendan Rodgers managed Liverpool for three years, during which time the captain’s armband was worn by the iconic Steven Gerrard.
Gerrard is now a relatively successful manager himself, of course, and on Sunday, he will face Rodgers in the Premier League as Leicester City welcome Aston Villa.
