Stoke City are being tipped to enjoy a good season following the surprise arrival of former Barcelona striker Bojan. The Spanish international has won four league titles and two Champions League trophies, and will bring real pedigree to the Potters side in 2014/15.

Last season, City finished in an impressive ninth place in manager Mark Hughes’ first term at the club. They finally broke the 50-point barrier for the first time in their Premier League history, and now they are hopeful of staying in the top-half of the table in back-to-back campaigns.

With Stoke having added to their strong squad this summer, with the likes of Bojan, Phil Bardsley, Steve Sidwell, Mama Diouf, Dionatan Teixeira, Maurice Edu and Juan Agudelo, Coral are giving odds of 11/8 for the club to finish in the top-half again under Hughes.

Their home form was typically impressive in 2013/14, losing just three times all season, conceding less than a goal a game. To finish above the likes of Newcastle and West Ham will give City confidence they can continue going forward in future campaigns.
