Stoke City could hit the 40-point tally if they can get all three points against Hull this weekend. The Potters have amassed 37 points from 31 games, and are boasting good form prior to Saturday’s meeting.
Mark Hughes’ side have taken 10 points from their last four league games, and have only lost once in their previous eight. City have beaten sides such as Manchester United & Arsenal in 2014, and ran Manchester City close at the Etihad – losing just 1-0.
Hull have been looking human of late, losing four of their last six in the Premier League. Steve Bruce’s men are still on course for survival, but will likely need two more wins from their remaining seven matches to ensure they aren’t close to the drop zone come May.
Bet 365 are giving odds of 23/20 for Stoke to get all three points on Saturday. The two sides drew a blank when they met earlier this season, but with survival at stake there promises to be more attacking intent.
It’s expected both clubs will stay up this season, but they’ll both want to secure survival sooner rather than later.
