Premier League outfit Stoke City have agreed to sign Spanish forward Moha el Ouriachi from Barcelona, according to the player’s official representative.
The 19-year-old had an offer to extend his deal with the Catalans that is due to expire in the summer, but he rejected it in favour of a switch to Britannia Stadium.
Moha’s agent Raul Verdu has suggested that his client has accepted an offer from Stoke City and will be joining the Potters on a free transfer.
“We thank Barca for the deal they offered the player and the efforts they have gone to try to renew his contract,” Verdu told Sport.
“But another proposal was really interesting on both a professional and economic level. Moha has the option of joining the first team squad at Stoke and that was irresistible.”
It is believed that Stoke promised the youngster he would be immediately added to the first team set-up and everything suggests that helped seal the deal.
The talented forward has been playing for Barcelona youth sides and chances are he will be leaving the Catalans without appearing for the first team.
Moha did impress playing for the Under-19 side in UEFA Youth League, where he managed 4 goals and 5 assists in 11 appearances.
